Soccer Time

Brenika started soccer in September.  She loved it and was way more excited to play this year than the year before.  Her games were usually cold and windy, so Kash and I didn't make it to all of them, but we did get to most of them.

She actually ran up and down the field this year.  She was still a little scared of actually going after the ball to try and kick it, but if it happened to come to her, she did kick it a few times.

She always liked kicking off.  The one chance she had to kick it and not have to worry about someone kicking her back.

It is always so fun to watch her play.  She is just so friendly and nice.  I loved that there was always kids yelling her name, even from the other kids playing on different fields.  "Hey Brenika, Hi Brenika"  She has a million little friends and it makes me so happy that so many people just love her.

Summer Softball

Brenika played softball this summer and loved it!!  You could hardly call it summer.  Every single game was freezing, rainy, windy, and somehow only the very last game got called rained out. HAHA  She played twice a week during the month of June.  It was still so much fun to go watch her play.  T-Ball is just great.  They hit, they run, and that's it!  She was able to play on the same team as her good friend Hailey, so that was super fun for her!  I'm glad she loved it.

 Strike 1

 Strike 2

 She hit it!!!

I linked up her videos on YouTube.  You can see this one here.

And the other ones are here and here.  For some reason, YouTube was telling me you had to have your safety mode off.  I'm not sure why, haha so sorry.

Dirk was quite the little terror at her games.  He seriously would just run around like a wild man.  He even climbed halfway up the chain link fence behind home plate before I realized it.  No way to get back down.  Such a boy.

She didn't so much as play outfield as much as "play with the dirt."

I didn't want the photographer to yell at me for taking my own photos, so this was the best shot I could get of her. HAHAH  Oh well, didn't notice the people in the background until AFTER I took them.

Team shot.  Her coaches were super nice, and her friend Hailey is the blonde on the back left.  Such a fun month.
